Billing Policy

By advertising on our website(s) you agree to the billing policy below as part of the Advertising Agreement. This billing policy may be changed at anytime without notice and it is the responsibility of the advertiser to view this policy periodically.

FREE LISTINGS

A business is entitled to 1 FREE FULL DIRECTORY LISTING which includes placement in (1) Category in (1) Geographical Location, listed alphabetically. Additional locations and categories can be purchased for $50 CDN each per year.   

PAYMENTS

All charges are shown in Canadian Dollars. Payments are to be made in Canadian dollars. The Happy Bride™ accepts the following types of payment:

Visa or Master Card via PayPal
Cheque/Money Order

All payments are due within 30 days of the posting of advertisements or modifications of advertisements. If you provide The Happy Bride™ your credit card information, you authorize The Happy Bride™ to automatically charge your credit card for charges that apply to your account such as, but not limited to, modifications requested. You are responsible for keeping your credit card information with The Happy Bride™ up-to-date in regards to billing address changes or credit card number change or credit card expiry date changes. Customers can update their contact information, billing information and credit card information SECURELY by contacting THE HAPPY BRIDE.COM by PHONE at 1-905-537-4024.

NEVER EMAIL CREDIT CARD INFORMATION TO THE HAPPY BRIDE™. THE HAPPY BRIDE™ WILL NEVER ASK FOR SUCH INFORMATION BY EMAIL. PLEASE REPORT SUCH EVENTS TO THE HAPPY BRIDE™ IMMEDIATELY SO WE CAN TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION.

RENEWALS

ANNUAL FEES FOR ADDITIONAL CATEGORIES/LOCATIONS operate on an automatic renewal basis. It is the sole responsibility of the advertiser to cancel their additional category/location if they do not wish to renew for an additional term (1 year). If THE HAPPY BRIDE™ does not receive cancellation on or prior to the provided expiry date, the ANNUAL FEES FOR ADDITIONAL CATEGORIES/LOCATIONS will be automatically renewed for an additional term (1 year) and the customer will be invoiced accordingly.

STATEMENTS

The Happy Bride™ does not mail paper invoices or statements. Invoices will be emailed to the email address specified during account registration unless otherwise notified. The Happy Bride™ can email, or mail copies of your Invoices at anytime by calling and requesting this.

FEES

Returned (NSF) Checks: The Happy Bride™ charges a $35.00 fee for returned (NSF) checks. Customers that issue an NSF check will be required to submit future payments with a certified check or money order.

CANCELLATIONS & CANCELLATION PROCEDURE

The following terms apply to cancelling a directory listing with The Happy Bride™:

Customer MUST use our cancellation process below or the cancellation will NOT be performed. Informing us by phone that you will be cancelling is NOT a formal cancellation. Once The Happy Bride™ receives notice of cancellation, your account and all files and emails associated with the advertisement will be IMMEDIATELY suspended. If your account is overdue and you wish to cancel advertising, you must first pay the overdue fee or The Happy Bride™ will continue to charge your account and attempt to charge your credit card until such time as the account has been paid, at which time we will delete your advertising from our network.

When cancelling advertising you must follow these steps:

STEP 1: Email us at advertising@thehappybride.com and include the following information: 

Company Name
Contact First and Last Name
Mailing Address (if provided at registration)
City
Province
Postal Code
Phone Number
Domain name (if applicable)
Written request to cancel

ALL of the above MUST be identical to the contact information found within our registration information or we will ignore and reject the request for cancellation.

STEP 2: Wait for a confirmation email. Your account WILL NOT be cancelled UNTIL you receive and reply to the confirmation email from The Happy Bride.com.

STEP 3: Reply to the confirmation email that The Happy Bride™ emails the account holder. Your advertising account will then be deemed as cancelled and The Happy Bride™ will immediately, or shortly thereafter, remove the account and all files from our service.

REFUNDS

Please be aware that there are no refunds once payment has been made, and your advertisement has been placed. Cancellation of services does not relieve the customer from paying any outstanding balance owed on the account. If the payments due on services are not paid within 10 days of cancelling a service, THE HAPPY BRIDE™ has the right to send such to collections. The Happy Bride™ reserves the right to cancel any account, at any time, without notice, for any reason considered appropriate by The Happy Bride™.

CREDIT CARD DISPUTES & CHARGE BACKS

The Happy Bride™ has a zero tolerance policy for charge backs. If you feel THE HAPPY BRIDE™ has over charged you please contact us immediately and we will investigate the issue. If we are at fault, we will remedy the problem for you. Please give us a chance to remedy a billing issue you may be having before issuing a charge back with your credit card company. Any customer who disputes a credit card payment is subject to immediate account termination at The Happy Bride's™ discretion. All website files, emails etc. will be immediately deleted from our server network WITHOUT notice or refund.

PRICE & POLICY CHANGES

As per our Advertising Agreement, The Happy Bride™ reserves the right to change the fee charged for any of its services. The fee change will become effective at the posting date to our website. However this increase will not be charged for your existing term.
